What went well?

I enjoyed learning and using the different prioritization methods such as Value vs Effort, MosCoW and R.I.C.E to find the “best solution” for our team. Before learning about these methods, I had trouble explaining the thought process that went into my prioritization but after learning them, I am much more confident explaining the reasoning behind my prioritization.

What was challenging?

I found the wireframing to be the most challenging for me. I am not an artistic person at the very least so I found wireframing apps like Balsamiq to be incredibly helpful. I’d like to do more projects that focuses on the prototyping section of the product lifecycle to improve my wireframing and design skills.

What are the next steps?

Moving forward I would like to partner with a software engineer and a UI/UX designer to actually build the features. I’m sure there will be obstacles once the development team starts building these features and this will be good practice for a real-world situation.

Also, after launching the new features, I would like to collect feedback through user surveys and product metrics reviews to see whether the new features actually solved the initial problem and users are satisfied.
