Delivery Phase

Backlog Prioritization and Reprioritization

I used the MoSCoW Method to prioritize user stories (= features) based on the value and the potential impact it has on the product, the user experience, and the company’s performance.

I also assigned T-Shirt Sizes for each user story to represent the effort, time, and/or budget needed to create them.

Backlog Prioritization using MoSCoW and T-Shirt Size

I also reprioritized the backlog in the hypothetical situation that 50% of developers fell ill and are off for 2 weeks.

Product Metrics and Product Launch Plan

I captured product metrics with the HEART framework. These metrics will be used to determine the success of the new features as these provide key insights into how users are interacting with the product post-launch.

A product launch plan was the final document to create in the delivery phase. This document covers the following:

  • Launch summary

  • Logistics

  • Marketing

  • Product monitoring
